A day-long men's gathering exploring one of the greatest of the Arthurian stories, Gawain & The Green Knight.

What does it mean to grow into a man, with all the pressure, glory and risk that entails? What could chivalry actually look like in modern times? How does a failure mature into a wisdom?

In the warmth and depth of this medieval story we locate a place to ask deep questions, supported by the container of myth itself.

Master storyteller Dr Martin Shaw provides mythic approaches for the rite-of-passage that becoming a real human being entails. Internationally renowned author and mythologist, Shaw has almost thirty years’ experience working as a wilderness guide. This combination of rites of passage leadership and command of many ancient myths and folktales make him one of the most electrifying teachers working today.
